Christopher Lim (AIFD) is a highly experienced and accomplished florist with a career spanning over 36 years. He has excelled as a floral designer, educator, and demonstrator in both Japanese and western styles of floral design. Christopher holds prestigious qualifications such as the highest rank of Riji in the Sogetsu School of ikebana in Tokyo and the Certified Floral Designer (CFD) certification from the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD).
Throughout his extensive career, Christopher has made significant contributions to the floral arts. He has served as an advisor to various Chapters of Ikebana International, conducted numerous demonstrations, classes, and workshops in various countries, and wowed audiences with his live demonstrations and floral exhibits at international conferences and exhibitions.
Some notable highlights of Christopher's career include designing for special occasions such as the visit of Queen Elizabeth II, decorating Elizabeth Taylor and Malcolm Forbes's yacht, and creating installations for prestigious events like the Sir Elton John Singapore Concert. He has also been recognized as an international judge and has participated in renowned floral competitions and exhibitions worldwide.
As an educator, Christopher imparts his knowledge and passion for floral art through classes conducted in several primary and secondary schools in Singapore.
